Tupe Regulations

The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE) protects employees terms and conditions of employment when a business is transferred from one owner to another. Employees of the previous owner when the business changes hands automatically become employees of the new employer on the same terms and conditions.

Safe & Sound Security Solutions Limited recognises its obligations under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006. Here at Safe & Sound Security Solutions Limited we have an experienced management team, who have undertaken many such transfers in a professional manner.

In managing employees from their previous employer to Safe & Sound Security Solutions Limited, we undertake to carry out consultations through our Operations Director, with support from our area managers to ensure all TUPE issues are handled with the utmost sensitivity, and to ensure a smooth transition when service contracts change over.

TUPE also allows Safe & Sound Security Solutions Limited as a potential future employer to assess each individual in terms of their suitability to the role for which they are employed and to apply a suitable training schedule if required, to improve their skills. Specific measures are implemented in order to develop a transition plan that enables us to meet the demands of the customer and that of new personnel.
